About Us
Kontraplan is a production company experienced in the development, organizing and accomplishing various kinds of audiovisual products – feature films, documentaries, TV series, TV ads and theatrical plays. When it was founded in 2020, it inherited the portfolio of Spotlight – a production company of more than 20 years where its founder Dimitar Kotzev – Shosho was CEO. Kotzev is a renowned writer, director and producer who has more than 30 years of experience in the audiovisual arts. Kontraplan braves to develop not only professional projects for wide commercial TV and cinematic release, but also more independent projects like its most recent accomplishment – the bold cinematic experiment “The Answer to All Questions”. The company aims to further develop within a wider European context.
